The future of basketball 'rises and falls' with our youth. It is the goal of the AIBA Super Y- League to provide the fundamental development and appreciation of the game beginning at the grassroots levels. The league is comprised of the best youth teams in each franchise location with players destined to become future AIBA stars of tomorrow.
The Super Y-league helps players develop by providing weekly tournaments consisting of the most competitive youth basketball teams in the region. At the end of the season teams meet to compete at the prestigious AIBA Super Y-league International Finals. Inevitably, this high level of talent pool increases the quality of play while exposing the development of future AIBA stars.
The Super Y-League in conjunction with the AIBA-Investment Youth Foundations will be working together in providing comprehensive youth development initiatives aimed at enhancing players academic and leadership skills development, in addition to advancing the agenda of educational excellence leading to post secondary education scholarships for participating players.
The opportunities also exist for student exchange residency programs with other countries, thereby creating an integrated system that helps advanced the game globally, thus assuring the legacy of the game is shared internationally.
