AIBA Women's League
The AIBA W-League primary focal point will be the development of participating players, their knowledge of the game and advancing the opportunities for the female athlete. Once established the Women's league will provide the most diverse women's players globally.
Similar to its men's counterpart, AIBA W-League seeks to provide opportunity to expose players to college coaches and advance possibilities for future professional play. The league exposes players to a higher level of competition while preserving their college eligibility. In the long term the league seeks to improved players development making them more experience and fundamentally prepare to compete internationally.
The AIBA W-League allows the grassroots development of High School players by providing an opportunity for them to play and train alongside college players which can result in the aspiration to pursuit college scholarships.
No doubt the success of the WNBA will further motivate the female athlete to utilize the numerous advantages the league offers from incorporating the benefits of physical fitness to networking opportunities that may lead to furthering their careers beyond graduation either on the court on in the front office of a professional franchise.
